May 9 (SeeNews) - Kosovo’s consolidated budget was in deficit of 64.8 million euro ($70 million) in 2023, the statistical office said.
In 2022, Kosovo recorded a budget gap of 1.4 million euro, local media reported at the time.
Consolidated budget revenue increased by 9% in 2023, reaching 2.86 billion euro, while expenditures rose by 11.5% to 2.93 billion-euro, the statistical office said in a data release last week.
Taxes on products accounted for 72% of total budget revenue in the review period, followed by income taxes with 16%.
