September 30 (SeeNews) - The sales of Swedish fashion retailer Hennes&Mauritz (H&M) in Slovenia for the nine months through August 2016 increased by 1% year-on-year, reaching 392 million Swedish crowns ($45.54 million/40.7 million euro), the company said on Friday.
In the local currency, H&M sales in Slovenia rose by 2% over the review period, the company said in its financial report for the first nine months of its financial year 2016 starting December 1.
In the third quarter of fiscal year 2016, H&M sales in Slovenia rose 7% to 146 million Swedish crowns. In the local currency, H&M sales in Slovenia rose 5% year-on-year between June 1 and August 31.
H&M operated 12 stores in Slovenia at the end of August.
In Southeast Europe, H&M is also present in Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Turkey and Serbia.
