September 30 (SeeNews) - The sales of Swedish fashion retailer Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) in Bulgaria grew by 27% year-on-year to 460 million Swedish crowns ($53.3 million/47.8 million euro) during the first nine months of the financial year 2016 starting on December 1, the company said on Friday.
H&M's sales in Bulgaria increased by 29% on the year to 181 million Swedish crowns in the third quarter (June - August 2016), the company said in its nine-month financial report.
H&M said in August that it plans to open its 20th store in Bulgaria by the end of the year. The new store will be located in the city of Gabrovo, in central Bulgaria.
In Southeast Europe, H&M is also present in Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, and Serbia.
