March 29 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia's Federation in February totalled 36,554, up 7.1% compared with the same month a year earlier, according to figures released by the entity's statistical office on Friday.
Foreign tourists spent 75,030 overnights in the Federation in February, an annual decline of 1.8%, the Federation's statistical office said in a monthly report.
The total number of tourists who visited the Federation in February was 61,681, up 9.3% on the year. Total tourist overnights increased 1.7% on the year to 119,644 last month.
In February the most foreign visitors to the Federation came from Croatia (11,892), followed by tourists from Serbia (4,665) and Turkey (2,962).
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
