April 24 (SeeNews) - Kosovo tech and food company Foleja said it plans to open a Vapiano restaurant in Pristina in May.
The restaurant, which will offer pizza, pasta and salads, is set to open by Foleja’s food division, the company said in a post on social media LinkedIn on Tuesday.
New Vapiano restaurants will also open in Albania and North Macedonia, local media reported last week.
Foleja mainly engages in online retail of technology products, home appliances, clothing and cosmetics. Its restaurants division, Foleja Foods, was registered in 2023.
Established in 2002, German restaurant franchise company Vapiano has over 150 franchise restaurants in Europe, the Americas and Africa, according to its website.
The company filed for insolvency in April 2020. In June that year, Vapiano was bought out of insolvency by a group of hospitality investors led by former board member Mario C. Bauer.
