May 20 (SeeNews) - Insurer Dunav osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] generated the highest turnover among the blue chips on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices closed up, bourse data showed.
A total of 9,376 Dunav shares changed hands in a turnover of 11 million dinars. Dunav closed up 1.12% at 1,173 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.45% at 821.79 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.24% at 1,654.29.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 16.0 million dinars ($143,800/136,200 euro) on Friday, down from 25.5 million dinars on Thursday, as 139 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 2.6 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 327,427 euro to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Friday.
In the period between May 16 and 20, BELEX15 went up 0.44%, while BELEXline rose 0.38%.
The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market this week was 98.5 million dinars, versus 105 million dinars last week.
Treasury bonds trading turnover totalled 29.7 million dinars this week, down from 5.0 million dinars last week.
