September 28 (SeeNews) - The operator of the Zagreb airport, Medjunarodna Zracna Luka Zagreb (MZLZ), said on Wednesday that flag carrier Czech Airlines will continue to fly out of the Croatian capital to Prague during the winter season.
Czech Airlines will connect Zagreb and Prague three times a week and will offer passengers connecting flights to other European destinations via the Czech capital, MZLZ said in an emailed statement.
The route from Zagreb to Prague will be operated by the Airbus A319 aircraft.
Czech Airlines will also establish direct flights from Zagreb to Macedonia's Skopje from October 30 three times a week.
Czech Airlines performed its first flights to Zagreb from Prague in 1930. The route was temporarily suspended in June 2012 due to the air carriers' restructuring and was relaunched this summer.
