April 15 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Croatia fell 3.8% on the year to 974 in February, the statistical office said on Monday.
The number of permits issued for buildings declined 2.4% year-on-year to 862 in February, while the number of permits for civil engineering projects dropped 13.2% to 112, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a monthly report.
Out of all permits issued in February, 790 covered new construction projects, while 184 were issued for reconstruction works.
Based on the number of permits issued in February, 1,756 dwellings are planned to be built, up 3.4% on the year.
