March 28 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) ended in the red on Thursday on losses in electrical concern Koncar [ZSE:KOEI], bourse data showed.
The 21-share benchmark CROBEX fell 0.28% to close at 2,834.52 points.
The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, went down 0.19% to 1,713.17 points.
In regular trading, shares of index heavyweight Koncar generated the biggest daily turnover, 309,000 euro ($333,400), as they lost 1.52% to 260 euro.
Food and pharmaceuticals manufacturer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] gained 0.31% to 160 euro in a turnover of 211,500 euro on the news that it has been invited by Fortenova to conduct due diligence on its agricultural business unit.
Shares Hrvatska Postanska Banka (HPB) [ZSE:HPB] soared 1.72% to 236 euro in a turnover of 154,000 euro.
The total on-exchange turnover reached 3.5 million euro from 2.0 million euro a day earlier, boosted by an 1.3 million euro block deal with shares of HPB and a 520,000 block deal with shares of hotel owner and manager Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP].
