April 1 (SeeNews) - Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) said it has approved a 3 million euro ($3.2 million) loan to Bosnia and Herzegovina's Mikra Microcredits to back economically vulnerable women and women-led micro-businesses in rural areas.
The loan will help the microcredit organisation address gender disparities in the labour market and access to finance, with focus on the smallest microloan segment, CEB said in a statement last week.
The loan will be backed by a credit risk guarantee from the CEB’s Social Dividend Account (SDA).
