March 26 (SeeNews) - Cosmetics producer Bulgarian Rose [BUL:ROZA] said on Tuesday that it is proposing to its shareholders to distribute a gross dividend of 0.05 levs ($0.028/0.026 euro) per share for 2023.
The company plans to distribute a total of 267,549 levs in dividend for last year, including its net profit of 223,317 levs reported for 2023 and undistributed profit from previous years, Bulgarian Rose said in a bourse filing.
The proposal will be put to the vote at a general meeting of shareholders on May 16. If approved, the dividend will be disbursed over six months, starting July 8.
Bulgarian Rose paid out a gross dividend of 0.075 levs per share for 2022, or a total of 401,324 levs, according to previously disclosed information.
Karlovo-based Bulgarian Rose, established in 1948, manufactures cosmetic products for face, body, and hair using rose oil and locally-grown herbs. The company is part of local diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH].
As of 1505 CET on Tuesday, shares in Bulgarian Rose traded flat at 2.00 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
