September 30 (SeeNews) - The industrial sales of Bosnia's Federation rose by 20% on the year in August, following an increase of 27.1% in July, official figures showed on Friday.
Industrial sales on the non-domestic market jumped 28.1% on the year in August, while sales on the domestic market rose by 10.7%, according to first estimates of the Federation's statistical office.
In August, sales of intermediate goods increased by 25.2%, sales of capital goods rose 24.8%, energy sales grew 16.2% and sales of non-durable consumer goods were 10.8% higher, while sales of durable consumer goods decreased by 5.6% on the year.
On a monthly comparison basis, the Federation's industrial sales were 3.1% lower in August, following a revised increase of 1.1% in July.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Serb Republic is the other entity.
