May 7 (SeeNews) - Albania's finance ministry sold 4.2 billion leks ($44.9 million/41.7 million euro) worth of two-year fixed-rate Treasury notes, below target, at an auction held on Tuesday, the central bank said.
The government securities carry a 4.29% coupon and will mature on April 8, 2026, the central bank said in a data release.
At the latest auction of two-years Treasury notes held on April 4, the finance ministry sold 7.17 billion leks worth of debt paper.
