April 4 (SeeNews) - The Albanian road authority, ARRSH, said on Thursday it has opened tender procedures for the expansion of a road between the southern coastal city of Sarande and the tourist village of Ksamil, a popular summer destination.
The cost of the works, involving the addition of emergency lanes and a pedestrian walkway, is estimated at 1.7 billion leks ($17.6 million/16.2 million euro), ARRSH said in a tender notice.
Prospective bidders must complete the works within a two-year timeframe.
Offers can be submitted by May 8.
