April 18 (SeeNews) - Flag carrier Air Serbia plans to launch flights to Shanghai in China in November or December this year, regional media reported.
“Miami will come next year. We are awaiting wide-body aircraft,” news portal EX-YU Aviation quoted Air Serbia CEO, Jiri Marek, as saying by on Wednesday.
Air Serbia is set to take delivery of two Airbus A330-200 aircraft this year, previously operated by Etihad Airways and Air Belgium. The first is likely to arrive in July and the second in either September or October.
In March, Serbia’s finance minister Sinisa Mali said the airline is planning to introduce two new routes to China this year, to Shanghai and Guangzhou.
