April 23 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Federation posted a trade deficit of 2.231 billion marka ($1.2 billion/1.1 billion euro) in the first quarter months of this year, compared with a 1.753 billion marka trade gap in the same period of 2023, data of the entity's statistical office showed on Tuesday.
Exports fell 12% on the year to 2.601 billion marka in the January-March period, while imports rose 2.6% to 4.832 billion marka, the Federation's statistical office said in a statement.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
