May 9 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's central bank said it expects that the country's economy will grow by 2.6% in 2024, revising upwards its November forecast of 2.1% growth.
In 2025, Bosnia's economic growth is seen accelerating to 2.9%, the central bank said in a statement on Wednesday.
The most significant driver of economic growth in 2024 is anticipated to be personal consumption, fueled by the rise in nominal salary and the inflow of foreign remittances, the central bank said.
Average annual inflation is projected at 2.6% in 2024 and 2.0% in the following year.
Bosnia's economy grew by 1.6% in 2023, following an annual increase of 3.8% in 2022.
