April 25 (SeeNews) - Consumer prices in Bosnia rose by 2.0% on the year in March, following an annual increase of 2.1% in February, the statistical office said on Thursday.
In March, the average prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 1.2% year-on-year, prices of housing and utilities added 0.3%, and transportation prices went up by 1.5%. Prices of restaurants and hotels rose 8.4%, prices of healthcare services increased 3.2% and prices of miscellaneous goods and services went up 6.5%.
On a monthly comparison basis, consumer prices added 0.3% in March, following an increase of 0.5% in February.
Bosnia's average annual inflation abated to 6.1% last year, from 14% in 2022, the statistical office has said earlier.
