The industry's total revenue makes up 0.13% to the country's Gross domestic product (GDP) in 2016, compared to 0.11% for 2015 and 0.09% in 2014.
A total of 723 people were employed in the Creative, arts and entertainment activities industry in 2016, compared to
692 in 2015 and 710 in 2014. Most of the companies in the industry are based in Sofia, followed by Varna and Plovdiv.
