Total outsourcing industry turnover in 2014 stood at EUR 964 mln, 13.7% higher than in 2013. The turnover in the ITO sector was EUR 384 mln in 2014, while the BPO sector reached a turnover of EUR 580 mln.
At the end of 2014 estimated 33,300 people were employed by the 180 outsourcing companies in Bulgaria.
Following the trends, we expect the average number of employees in outsourcing industry to reach 90,000 in 2020. The operating revenue will reach up to EUR 2.0 bln, the total cost will grow to EUR 1.9 bln and the labour costs are expected to rise to EUR 1.55 bln.
