April 3 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose for a second straight day on Friday, with shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] leading the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
Atlantska's shares jumped 5.81% to close at 164 kuna.
At the other end, consumer goods distributor Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR] paced the blue-chip losers by shedding 0.9% to 1,100 kuna.
Shares of seven of the 10 blue-chip companies on the ZSE rose on Friday, two closed lower, and one ended flat.
Blue-chip hotel operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] generated the largest single portion of total trading turnover on Friday, with shares climbing 4.56% to close at 25.20 kuna in a 2.6 million kuna of turnover.
The ZSE's total trading turnover rose to 16.7 million kuna ($2.4 million/2.2 million euro) on Friday, from 15.9 million kuna on Thursday.
The bourse's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index increased by 0.91% to 1,504.98 after gaining 1.32% on Thursday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, rose 1.42% to 939.01 points on Friday after adding 1.10% on Thursday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index went up 0.32% to 111.4500.
