April 7 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose for a fourth straight day on Tuesday, with shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] pacing the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
Atlantska's shares jumped 8.99% to close at 194 kuna.
At the other end, the manufacturer of plastic products for the automotive industry AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL] led the blue-chip losers by shedding 4.11% to close at 140 kuna on Tuesday, after a day earlier it paced the blue-chip winners with a 14.06% gain.
Blue-chip hotel operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] generated the largest single portion of total trading turnover for a third consecutive session on Tuesday. Its shares fell 3.3% to close at 26.40 kuna in turnover of 5.7 million kuna.
The ZSE's total trading turnover dropped to 36.8 million kuna ($5.3 million/4.8 million euro) on Tuesday, from 39.6 million kuna on Monday.
The bourse's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index added 1.00% to 1,596.93 after gaining 5.06% on Monday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, rose 0.52% to 993.07 points on Tuesday after jumping 5.21% on Monday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index closed flat at 111.3500.
