March 25 (SeeNews) - The indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed higher for a second straight session on Wednesday, with diversified conglomerate Adris Grupa, [ZSE:ADRS2] leading the blue-chip gainers, ZSE data showed.
Adris Grupa's preferred shares added 7.62% to close at 339 kuna. Trading in them contributed the highest single portion of the ZSE's turnover for the day - of 6.68 million kuna.
At the opposite end was electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] which led the blue-chip losers by shedding 4.33% to 442 kuna.
The ZSE's total trading turnover rose to 23.5 million kuna ($3.3 million/3.1 million euro) on Wednesday, from 15.7 million kuna on Tuesday.
The bourse's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index advanced by 1.40% to 1,423.61 after adding 2.86% on Tuesday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, increased by 1.31% to 886.97 on Wednesday after rising by 3.45% on Tuesday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index edged up 0.01% to 111.2300.
