May 22 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell for a second consecutive day on Thursday, with shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] leading the blue-chip decliners.
Atlantska's shares shed 2.75% to close at 177 kuna.
At the other end, food, beverage and drug producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] pacing the blue-chip gainers by adding 0.72% to close at 5.72 kuna. It also generated the largest single portion of the bourse's daily turnover - of 1.3 million kuna.
Seven of the ten blue chips closed the trading day lower, two rose, and one ended the session flat.
ZSE's total trading turnover fell to 3.5 million kuna ($506,000/462,000 euro) on Thursday, from 4.5 million kuna on Wednesday.
The bourse's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index dropped by 0.56% to 1,572.51 after sliding down 0.17% on Wednesday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, went down 0.49% to 976.98 on Thursday after falling 0.48% on Wednesday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index ended down 0.08% at 110.6900.
