January 27 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose on Wednesday, with telecommunication services provider Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE] pacing the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
Optima Telekom's shares closed 3.46% higher at 5.98 kuna.
Car parts producer AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL] lead the blue-chip losers, its shares closing 0.54% lower at 184.50 kuna.
Telecommunication services provider Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] generated the largest trading turnover among the blue-chip companies - of 1.18 million kuna ($190,000/160,000 euro) on Wednesday. Its shares closed 0.27% higher at 184.50 kuna.
The ZSE's total trading turnover rose to 5.65 million kuna on Wednesday, from 3 million kuna on Tuesday.
Among the ten blue chips, six rose, three fell and one closed flat.
The ZSE's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index rose 0.37% to 1,798.60 after adding 0.72% on Tuesday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, added 0.28% to 1,125.79 on Wednesday, after rising 0.47% on Tuesday.
