June 12 (SeeNews) - The Croatian stock indices gained ground on Thursday amid lower total daily turnover, bourse data indicated.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) was up 0.51% to 1,774.20 points after gaining 0.13% on Wednesday.
The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the 10 leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, rose 0.53% to close at 1,003.48.
The CROX index, which tracks the eight most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, ended 0.68% higher in euro terms at 882.51.
ZSE's total turnover rose to 22.1 million kuna ($3.9 million/2.9 million euro) from 29.5 million kuna on Wednesday.
Tobacco-to-tourism conglomerate Adris Grupa [ZSE:ADRS-R-A] generated the session's biggest turnover of 2.9 million kuna, closing up 0.03% to 300 kuna.
Valamar Adria Holding [ZSE:KORF-R-A] paced the CROBEX gainers, closing up 2.51% at 195.8 kuna.
Agricultural conglomerate Vupik [ZSE:VPIK-R-A] led the CROBEX decliners, dropping 5.85% to 91.33 kuna.
The fixed-income CROBIS index was up 0.03% to 104.4709 points.
