December 22 (SeeNews) - The Croatian share indices extended their losses on Tuesday in sharply higher total daily turnover, bourse data indicated.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell 0.55% to 1,647.6 points after edging down 0.05% on Monday.
The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, closed down 0.48% at 975.69.
The CROX index, which tracks the eight most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, was down 0.4% in euro terms to 927.24.
ZSE's total turnover jumped to 32.7 million kuna ($4.7 million/4.3 million euro) from 6.8 million kuna on Monday.
Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR-R-A] generated the session's biggest turnover of 7 million kuna, closing down 0.86% at 812 kuna.
Fertilizer maker Petrokemija [ZSE:PTKM-R-A] paced the CROBEX advancers, adding 9.12% to 14 kuna.
Hotel operator Maistra [ZSE:MAIS-R-A] led the CROBEX decliners, shedding 5.41% to 207.46 kuna.
The fixed-income CROBIS index was down 0.09% to 105.0674 points.
