December 21 (SeeNews) - The Croatian share indices continued to lose ground on Monday in nearly flat total daily turnover, bourse data indicated.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) edged down 0.05% to 1,656.75 points after dropping 0.08% on Friday.
The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, closed down 0.17% at 980.41.
The CROX index, which tracks the eight most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, was down 0.04% in euro terms to 931.08.
ZSE's total turnover fell to 6.8 million kuna ($971,000/889,000 euro) from 6.95 million kuna on Friday.
Hotel operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP-R-A] generated the session's biggest turnover of 884,000 kuna, closing up 0.21% at 23.65 kuna.
Shipping firm TNG [ZSE:TPNG-R-A] paced the CROBEX advancers, adding 5% to 75.21 kuna.
Plastic products maker AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL-R-A] led the CROBEX decliners, shedding 3.62% to 94.16 kuna.
The fixed-income CROBIS index was down 0.02% to 105.1664 points.
