January 19 (SeeNews) - The main equity index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE), the CROBEX, continued to climb up for a 19th straight day on Wednesday, reaching another record high in almost five years, bourse data showed.
The 21-share blue-chip CROBEX index advanced 0.54% to end at 2,213.26 points, its highest level since February 2017, according to ZSE data.
The narrower CROBEX10 index which is tracking the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, gained 0.31% to end at 1,342.93 points.
Blue-chip food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PIDR] was the most traded stock on Wednesday with a turnover of 3.9 million kuna ending 0.85% lower at 700 kuna.
The shares of ICT solutions provider Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT] surged 3.05% to finish at 2,030 kuna in a turnover of 818,000 kuna.
Shipping company Atlantska Plovidba rose 0.53% to close at 377 kuna in a turnover of 605,000 kuna.
Hrvatska Postanska Banka [ZSE:HPB] went up 1.81% to 845 kuna.
ZSE's total turnover rose to 10.5 million kuna from 9.3 million kuna on Tuesday.
