ZAGREB (Croatia), January 13 (SeeNews) - The main equity index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) stagnated at its highest level in almost five years on Thursday, rising for a 14th straight session in a row in low turnover, bourse data showed.

The 21-share blue-chip CROBEX index added 0.03% to end at 2,158.15, its highest level since February 2017, according to ZSE data. The narrower CROBEX10 index which is tracking the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, advanced 0.14% to end at 1,307.64 points.

Index heavyweight Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] was the most traded share with a turnover of 877,000 kuna ($134,000/117,000 euro). Its shares ended flat at 185.50 kuna.

Shares of shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] fell 1.77% to finish at 389 kuna in a turnover of 302,000 kuna.

Fertiliser producer Petrokemija [ZSE:PTKM] rose 6.54% to end at 32.60 kuna following media reports on Wednesday that Turkish holding company Yildirim has submitted a binding bid for it.

The fertiliser producer recently announced plans to delist from the Zagreb bourse. ZSE's turnover was 6.6 million kuna on Thursday, unchanged compared to Wednesday.
