January 17 (SeeNews) - Passenger traffic at Zagreb Airport surged 122.5% on the year to 3.1 million in 2022, Aeroports de Paris (ADP), which is a shareholder in the company operating Croatia's biggest international airport, said.
Last year's traffic was equal to 91% of the pre-pandemic 2019 figure, ADP said in a press release on Monday.
In December alone, Zagreb Airport served 247,736 passengers, up by 38% on the year and higher by 7.2% compared with December 2019.
Aircraft movements at the airport increased by 42.9% on the year to 42,310 in 2022. Their number equalled 93.9% of the aircraft movements in 2019.
In December the figure reached 3,381, up 5.1% on the year and 0.9% higher compared to December 2019.
