July 15 (SeeNews) - The passenger traffic of Croatia's biggest airport - Zagreb's Franjo Tudjman, rose 4.2% on the year to 1.534 million in January-June, one of its owners, Aeroports de Paris (ADP), said.
In June alone, Zagreb Airport handled 336,618 passengers, up 1.5% on the year, ADP said in a statement on Friday.
It added that in the past 12 months Zagreb Airport saw a 5.3% rise in passenger numbers to almost 3.4 million.
ADP and Turkey's TAV Airports have a shareholding of 21% and 15%, respectively, in the Zagreb Airport operator.
According to a 30-year concession contract signed in 2012 between the Croatian government and the Zagreb Airport International Company (ZAIC) for the management of the airport and the construction of its new terminal, apart from ADP and TAV, the shareholders in ZAIC also included France's Bouygues Batiment International with 20.8%, EU-backed Marguerite Fund with 20.8%, the World Bank's private sector arm - the IFC, with 17.6%, and Croatia's Viadukt with 5.1%.
