November 16 (SeeNews) - The World Bank said on Thursday it has raised its forecast for Albania's economic growth in 2017 to 3.8%, from 3.6% projected in October.
Economic growth in Albania is supported by private investment, foreign direct investment energy projects such as the Trans Adriatic Pipeline and Devoll hydro power plant, and recovering household consumption, the World Bank said in its Fall 2017 Western Balkans Regular Economic Report.
The Bank increased its forecast for Albania's economic growth in 2018 to 3.6%, from previously projected 3.5%
The forecast for Albania's gross domestic product growth in 2019 has been confirmed at 3.5%.
