January 10 (SeeNews) - The World Bank said it has revised up its projection for Bulgaria’s economic growth to 3.9% in 2018, from 3.2% projected in June.
The forecast for Bulgaria's economic growth in 2019 was increased to 4.0%, from previously projected 3.3%, the World Bank said in its January 2018 Global Economic Prospects report.
The World Bank also raised its estimate for Bulgaria's economic growth in 2017 to 3.8%, up by 0.8 percentage points compared to the projection made in the June edition of its Global Economic Prospects report.
Bulgaria's economy expanded by a real 3.9% in 2016, according to the World Bank.
