PRISTINA (Kosovo), June 6 (SeeNews) – The World Bank affirmed its January forecast for Kosovo's economic growth in 2018 and 2019 at 4.8% each, the Bank said.
Kosovo is expected to end 2020 with a GDP growth rate of 4.8%, up 0.1 percentage points from the January forecast, the World Bank said in its June 2018 Global Economic Prospects report.
The economy of Kosovo grew by 4.4% last year, accelerating from 4.1% expansion in 2016, the bank added.
According to the report, the Western Balkans region comprising Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia, will achieve economic growth of 3.2% in 2018, 3.4% next year and 3.8% in 2020.
