SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), June 6 (SeeNews) – The World Bank said it affirmed Bosnia’s 2018 economic growth forecast at 3.2%, up from 3.0% economic expansion in 2017.
Bosnia's GDP growth is expected to pick up to 3.4% next year, the World Bank said in its June 2018 Global Economic Prospects report, affirming its January 2018 forecast.
The bank expects Bosnia's economic growth to accelerate further to 4.0%, up 0.5 percentage point compared to its January projection.
According to the bank, the Western Balkans region comprising Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia, will achieve economic growth of 3.2% in 2018, 3.4% next year and 3.8% in 2020.
