February 11 (SeeNews) - Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air will open a new seasonal base in Bulgaria's Burgas and will start seven new routes from the coastal city as of June, it said.
The airline will have one Airbus A320 aircraft based at Burgas airport from June 10 until September 12, it said in an e-mailed statement.
The Airbus A320 aircraft will support the operations of the new routes - to Germany's Dortmund, Izrael's Tel Aviv, Ukraine's Kyiv, UK's Liverpool, Poland's Poznan, Netherlands' Eindhoven and Finland's Turku.
Wizz Air entered the Bulgarian market in 2005. The airline has carried some 19 million passengers to and from Bulgaria in the past 16 years, according to the statement.
