August 29 (SeeNews) - Low-cost carrier Wizz Air said it will resume flights linking Slovenia's Ljubljana to Belgium's Brussels in the spring of 2020, following a planned pause in the coming winter season.
"Wizz Air always monitors the performance of its routes to allow for the most popular destinations to have the lowest possible fares. The Ljubljana-Brussels route is seasonalized in winter and it will come back in the IATA summer season 2020 in the middle of March and April," Wizz Air told SeeNews in an emailed statement on Wednesday.
The statement followed last week's media reports that Wizz Air will suspend its Ljubljana-Brussels service as of late October.
The low-cost airline first launched the flights from Ljubljana to Brussels Charleroi in the winter of 2012.
