October 4 (SeeNews) - Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air said on Monday it is launching a new route from Romania's capital Bucharest to the Jordanian city of Aqaba starting December 15.
The new route will be operated twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, Wizz Air said in a press release.
"We are constantly looking to expand with new routes operated from Romanian airports to diversified destinations throughout Europe and beyond," Wizz Air corporate communications manager Paulina Gosk said.
Wizz Air is present in Romania since 2006 and currently offers over 180 domestic and international routes from eleven airports in the country. The company operates a fleet of 145 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft internationally.
