December 29 (SeeNews) - Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air plans to launch flights linking the Fiumicino airport in Rome to Serbia's Belgrade and Montenegro's Podgorica in March 2022, two months earlier than initially planned, the company's flight schedule showed on Wednesday.
The company will launch the flights on March 29, instead of June 2, announced initially, with tickets already being available on the website of Wizz Air.
The services will be operated three times a week - on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Insolvent flag carrier Alitalia was operating both routes until the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020. Alitalia operated its last flight in October and will be succeeded by a new company, named ITA - Italia Trasporto Aereo.
