November 19 (SeeNews) - Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air plans to launch flights linking the Fiumicino airport in Rome to Serbia's Belgrade and Montenegro's Podgorica in June 2022, the company's flight schedule showed on Friday.
The flights to Belgrade and Podgorica will be launched on June 2 and will be operated three times a week - on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, with tickets already being available on the website of Wizz Air.
Insolvent flag carrier Alitalia was operating both routes until the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020. Alitalia operated its last flight in October and will be succeeded by a new company, named ITA - Italia Trasporto Aereo.
