TIRANA (Albania), August 26 (SeeNews) – Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air said it will add new routes from Austria’s Vienna to Kosovo's Pristina and Albania's Tirana among six new flights to be offered by the company from the Austrian capital.
Two additional Airbus A321 will join the fleet on December 18, 2019 and July 1, 2020, enabling the start of six new long-awaited services from Vienna to Athens, Castellon, Cologne, London-Luton, Pristina and Tirana, and the increase of frequencies of the airline’s existing Lisbon and Tel Aviv routes, Wizz Air said in a press release last week.
Starting December 18, flights from Vienna to Pristina will be serviced four times per week - on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The route from Vienna to Tirana will be offered three times a week - on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, starting December 19.
“Our expanding route network from Vienna now offers 44 routes to 26 countries within Europe and beyond,” Johan Eidhagen, chief people and marketing officer of Wizz Air, said in the press release.
