TIRANA (Albania), January 13 (SeeNews) – Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air will add five new routes from Albania’s capital Tirana to Italy in Summer 2020, it said on Monday.
The new services would link Tirana to Milan Bergamo, Bologna, Verona, Venice Treviso and Pisa, the company said in a press release.
Wizz Air noted that it has doubled its network from Tirana by offering in 2020 a total of 10 routes to five countries (Austria, Germany, Hungary, Italy and the UK) that will further contribute to the increasing inbound and outbound tourism and improve business ties.
The new route to Milan Bergamo will be operated every day starting March 29. The services to Bologna and Verona will be both operated four times per week – on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday – starting May 1.
The new routes to Venice Treviso and Pisa will be both operated three times per week – on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday – starting August 1 and March 31, respectively.
