June 19 (SeeNews) - Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air has started a service from its Serbian base in Belgrade to Lyon-Saint-Exupery Airport in France, it said.
The service to Lyon started on June 15 and is operated on Tuesdays and Saturdays, Wizz Air said in a statement on Tuesday.
"We are delighted to celebrate the launch of new Wizz route from Belgrade to the popular business and tourism destination of Lyon, as we continue to create ever more travel opportunities for our passengers. Today’s announcement underlines our commitment to Serbia, a market we have been devoted to for the past 9 years," Paulina Gosk, Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air, said.
Wizz Air currently offers 15 low-fare routes to seven countries from Belgrade airport.
