December 6 (SeeNews) - Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air said on Thursday that its passenger traffic to and from Bulgaria rose by an annual 17% to 2.8 million in the January-November period of this year.
Wizz Air launched flights from Bulgaria to six new destinations this year - Malaga, Athens, Lisbon, Nice, Vienna and Eilat, the company said in a statement.
Currently, Wizz Air operates flights on 43 routes from three airports in Bulgaria - Sofia, Varna and Burgas.
The company has eight aircraft based in Bulgaria - seven in Sofia and one in Varna.
