April 30 (SeeNews) - Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air said it has launched two new routes - from Austrian capital Vienna to Bulgaria's Varna and Bosnia and Herzegovina's Tuzla.
The company will service the Varna route twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, while flights to Bosnia and Herzegovina's Tuzla will be operated five times per week - on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, Wizz Air said in a statement on Friday.
"As part of WIZZ’s expansion across Europe, the airline will continue to increase its operations at Vienna International Airport to become the second largest carrier in Austria in 2019. The airline will open a new base in Vienna with five new Airbus aircraft allocated and a local staff of more than 200 employees by March 2019," the company added.
The air carrier has also added a new route from Vienna to Poland's Katowice and plans to launch flights to Ukraine's Kyiv as of October.
