SOFIA (Bulgaria), August 21 (SeeNews) – The Bulgarian unit of German vehicle access systems maker WITTE Automotive said on Monday it plans to expand its plant in the city of Russe, on the Danube.
The plant expansion project includes the construction of a new production and logistic facilities, the company said in a statement.

The size of the investment was not disclosed.
The new facilities will become operational by mid-2018.
Witte Automotive Bulgaria also said it plans to increase its staff by 500 over the next five years. According to the company's website, Witte Automotive Bulgaria has 700 workers at Bulgaria.
WITTE Automotive supplies carmakers with latches, hinges, lock sets and door handles.
