June 18 (SeeNews) - Wheat yields are seen falling in Bulgaria and Croatia but rising in Romania and Slovenia this year, the EU's crop monitoring unit said on Wednesday.
"The yield outlook for soft wheat is 4.2% above the 5-year average, and is particularly good for Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria and the UK, as well as for Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania and Portugal," the MARS unit said in a monthly report.

Croatia joined the EU on July 1, 2013, Romania acceded the bloc together with Bulgaria in January 2007, and Slovenia became EU member in 2004.
