SOFIA (Bulgaria), November 28 (SeeNews) – Welde Bulgaria [BUL:4L5], a unit of Austrian wooden products manufacturer Welde, said on Monday its consolidated net profit fell to 116,000 levs ($70,500/59,300 euro) in the first nine months of 2017 from 267,000 levs in the year-ago period.
The company’s operating revenue rose to 42.8 million levs in the January-Septmeber period from 37.7 million levs a year earlier, Welde Bulgaria said in a bourse filing.
Operating expenses increased to 42.6 million levs in the review period, from 37.3 million levs in January-September 2016.
Welde produces plywood and hardboard and trades in timber and wood-based products. In Southeast Europe, it also operates in Romania and Serbia.
