December 2 (SeeNews) - German plastic water pipe manufacturer German Plast officially opened a plant worth some 1.5 million euro ($1.6 million) in Kosovo's southwestern town of Junik, the company said.
The plant employs 10 people and plans to create up to 40 more jobs, a video posted on the company's Facebook page last week showed.
According to the company's website, German Plast operates in Junik since 2015. It manufactures 48 types of water pipes.
The investors in the project are Kosovar businessmen living in Germany, who have also invested in infrastructure and agriculture in the Southeast European country creating 110 jobs.
